TT+ Audio, the premium brand of the Italian RCF, has introduced a new line array system based on the GTX 7C cardioid line array modules and the GTS 16C flyable cardioid subwoofers. The system combines active cardioid technology, advanced DSP processing and a robust touring construction!
GTX 7C + GTS 16C
Active cardioid technology
The new GTX 7C + GTS 16C cardioid line array system is passive but uses active cardioid directional technology thanks to an external DSP amplifier. Unlike classic passive solutions, the system uses independently powered front and rear drivers of the module and subwoofer, which allows for effective sound cancellation towards the rear.
In traditional cardioid configurations, the front and rear drivers receive the same signal and cancellation occurs in a narrower frequency range, while using active cardioid directivity control technology, the front and rear drivers have independent signal DSP control, which allows for precise digital and phase matching over a wider frequency range.
This results in more precise control without compromising power as well as the best possible acoustic cardioid cancellation, a "cleaner" stage (greater rear attenuation up to 30 dB from front to back, less "bleeds"), greater speech and vocal intelligibility, and reduced interaction with reflective surfaces.
GTX 7C line array module
The TT+ Audio GTX 7C is a compact cardioid line array module that was developed to deliver precise and high-performance sound in demanding applications. Using digitally controlled directivity, it outperforms traditional cardioid solutions by combining advanced acoustic design with active DSP optimization. The front and rear drivers are independently powered via separate audio channels with detailed digital processing via XPS amplifiers.

Main technical features:
- 140 dB MAX SPL
- 120° × 10° horn (Linear Resistive Waveguide)
- 2 × 7” front and 2 × 5.5” rear neodymium woofers
- 3.0”, neodymium compression tweeter
- 22 dB rear attenuation (average)
- PU material housing with shock-absorbing polyurea coating
- 2 × SpeakON NL4 STXX IP54 rugged connectors
- Designed to work with XPS 16K amplifier (8 modules per amplifier)
GTS 16C Cardioid Subwoofer
The GTS 16C is a flyable cardioid subwoofer, designed for use in situations that require powerful low frequency response with controlled dispersion. It consists of a 16” neodymium front woofer and a 14” neodymium rear woofer, in a cabinet made of high quality plywood with a polyurea coating.
Thanks to the integrated suspension hardware, the GTS 16C can be quickly hung or stacked, and it is possible to cascade up to three subwoofers per two XPS 16K channels.
Main technical characteristics:
- 137 dB MAX SPL
- 16" neodymium woofer
- 14" neodymium rear woofer
- 4 side handles
- 2 x SpeakON NL4 STXX IP54 connectors
- Compatible suspension elements with GTX 7C
- Designed to work with the XPS16K amplifier (6 subwoofers per amplifier)
Designed for professional applications
This line array system is part of the TT+ Audio GTX touring family. Controlled dispersion (120° × 10°) and exceptional speech intelligibility make it the perfect solution for spaces with challenging acoustics. It is an ideal choice for:
- concert halls and clubs
- theaters and performing arts centers
- rental and touring systems
- conferences
- churches
- multifunctional event spaces
Thanks to cardioid dispersion and FiRPHASE technology, the system ensures even coverage, exceptional clarity, and consistent sound quality in every part of the room, and the sound stays where it needs to be.
