Last month, Sony announced that its family of professional BRAVIA displays is expanding even further with the new 98 inch FW-BZ53L display! Sony BRAVIA 98BZ53L is a 4K Full Array LED professional display with Deep Black Non-Glare anti-glare coating (47% glare) that we could see on the previous "smaller" (max 85") BZ40L series, that now this new model complements. Along with the presentation of the new 98'' BRAVIA display, the availability of the 98'' FW-BZ30L model, which was not available in Europe, was confirmed and is now available in the LAV Projekt offer. 98’’ BRAVIA BZ53L
The new Sony "ninety-eight" provides stunning image quality even in the most challenging lighting conditions. In addition to the XR™ Cognitive processor that creates an unprecedented viewing experience, the XR Triluminos Pro color technology expresses an even wider range of extremely realistic shades and tones. The BZ53L display is intended for professional use in retail, exhibition and corporate environments, which means it comes with professional settings, 24/7 operation and fully customizable modes of operation for all scenarios. Unlike previous BRAVIAs (3+2), the new BZ53L comes with 5 years of PrimeSupport service package included as standard.
Spectacular brightness of 780 nits and more
In busy retail showrooms or in corporate lobbies, the new 98-inch BRAVIA shines with an extraordinary brightness of 780 nits and simply catches everyone's eye, even in highly illuminated spaces. Sony Full Array Local Dimming boosts the maximum peak even more to an incredible 1500 nits. The BZ53L has a 4K 120Hz panel that, in combination with XR Motion Clarity and Motionflow XR (for expressing fast movements), reproduces the image with unprecedented smoothness, clarity and realism.
Sony Deep Black Non-Glare Coating Technology
Now also featured on the 98" BZ53L, Sony's Deep Black Non-Glare Coating technology reduces screen reflection and enhances image contrast, even under the glare of bright lights in retail stores, workspaces and classrooms. It's the key to dynamic, high-fidelity visuals - alive color and details that inspire everyone from corporate visitors and staff to customers and students.
Professionally designed for business
Other so-called professional displays are little more than standard TVs with a few extra features thrown in to make the model count as professional. The Sony 98'' BZ53L as well as the entire professional BZ-L series has been designed from the ground up to provide its users with faster, easier and more flexible installation and use in retail and corporate environments. Thus, the new BZ53L BRAVIA is about 20 kilograms lighter than the previous 100'' BZ40J model, which certainly makes it easier for installation teams. It comes with an ergonomically positioned lower horizontal handle, making lifting and carrying even easier and more comfortable. In addition to the subtle positioning of the Sony logo on the edge of the thin 20 mm frame, there are side-mounted signal connectors (audio, video, control, USB,...) that certainly facilitate assembly. Installation of the new 98'' BRAVIA is available in portrait or landscape orientation with a tilt range of -15 to +20 degrees for even greater flexibility. This is precisely what enables greater usability in every business environment. In addition to everything, Sony is of course also thinking about sustainability, which is why the use of recycled materials has been increased, the energy ranking has been improved and new ecological settings are contributing to the continuous development of sustainability.
Special settings for professional use
BRAVIA makes doing business even easier, allowing you to fine-tune settings to suit the demands of your business or retail environment. Disable input or remote control functions, block buttons to avoid touching when the screen is used in public areas. Customize and save display settings, then easily copy them from display to display via USB flash drive. One Step Setting also offers presets tailored to your environment, including meeting room, vivid signage, natural signage and graphics. Just select a preset and the BRAVIA instantly configures the picture mode, input, control settings and more. If 98'' is too small for you and you want to implement a larger screen, video wall configuration is simpler than ever. With the Multi Display Setting (MDS) app, you can easily create stunning video walls with multiple BRAVIA displays "tiled" together.
Simple signage
Informing and guiding visitors with digital signage in retail and business spaces has never been easier. The built-in BRAVIA Signage Free (BSF) software automatically plays HTML content, videos and photos copied to USB when inserted into the BRAVIA. The same is possible with a doubled 32 GB internal memory. With built-in support for HTML5, it is also possible to use BRAVIA to display interactive content without the need for a dedicated set-top box, media player or personal computer. The content on the screen can be freely distributed using 4K video, photos or even with HDMI input.
