CamConnect™ Pro
In an industry first, Lumens is introducing an AI-based multi-channel IP to USB converter to video conferencing and unified collaboration installations. This allows AV technicians to use easy-to-deploy IP cameras for use with Microsoft Teams, Zoom Rooms and other applications. Integrating and powering multiple IP cameras on the local network promises remote camera management, single cable installation and no practical limit on cable length. CamConnect Pro with its intelligent AI-Box1 works by automatically synchronizing up-to four PTZ cameras with real-time acoustic data from directional microphones.

Voice Tracking Camera Control
AI-Box1 matches directional audio data with preset camera positions to focus on the active speaker. If the speaker adjusts their position, the camera will intelligently correct the preset to keep the subject in the center of the frame.
Hybrid Audio-Visual Tracking Algorithm
By turning a PTZ camera into an automatic tracking camera, the AI-Box1 uses live data from the microphone to track presenters or teachers as they move around the stage or lecture hall. This makes CamConnect an ideal partner when recording lectures, for example.
Multiple Camera Auto Switch
AI-Box1 can use up-to 4 cameras to deliver the best shooting angle, dramatically enhancing AV production and the remote meeting experience. The unit also supports multiview mode, for output of two cameras side by side (PBP) or multiple cameras in a 2x2 gallery. This is precisely what allows viewers and remote participants to engage in discussions and debates without constantly moving the camera back and forth. The solution supports input from a single microphone for voice tracking or a whole array of installed microphones, making it suitable for use in meeting rooms and lectures.
Microphone Arrays and Digital Signal Processors
CamConnect Pro's intelligent hardware element, the AI-Box1 CamConnect processor, is as small as a mini inverter, but has the power and flexibility to support up to 4 cameras, multiple microphone arrays, and collaboration tools like the Barco ClickShare CX Series. It is optimized for collaboration with Nureva, Sennheiser, Shure and Yamaha microphone arrays.
