RF Venue CP Stage Circularly Polarized Antenna
he CP Stage antenna is the perfect choice for wireless IEM and microphone systems, it uses circular polarization and unlike linear antennas (paddle antennas), which receive the signal horizontally or vertically, it receives the signal circularly eliminating problems with signal dropout caused by the orientation of the transmitter or performer or reflections on the stage (e.g. from LED panels). The frequency range of the CP Stage antenna is 470-928 mHz, impedance standard 50 Ω, beamwidth of 120° with a gain of 3dBi @ 500MHz!
The antenna measures 254 × 306 × 25 mm and weighs 0.9 kg. The housing is IP44, which means it is weatherproof and suitable for outdoor use, and is easily mounted on microphone stands. Due to its circular polarization, the antenna is ideal for bands using IEM systems! Classic linear antenna can ''favor'' the performer on stage who is aligned with it and ignore others, while the CP Stage antenna ensures equal coverage for all performers on stage.

What are the benefits of swapping out a traditional paddle antenna for a CP Stage antenna?
If you have noticed that when using wireless systems, the performers often lose the signal when they move or turn, it means that you have problems with either polarization or reflections. Metal elements, LED screens, various stage elements, even people can interfere with RF signals. Using the CP Stage antenna with wireless microphone and wireless IEM systems enables signal stability during movement and low sensitivity to the performer's orientation. Likewise, if the performers report signal interruptions, "crunching" or RF noise in the headphones using the RF Venue antenna, they are significantly reduced. With technical ease of installation, robustness and IP44 weather resistance, CP Stage is the ideal partner for complex stages where greater coverage is required.
By using the RF Venue antenna, you will certainly reduce problems with the antenna's direction (wider effective range due to circular polarization and more effective coverage of corners where signal degradation occurs), and as we mentioned before, it is ideal for applications when you have multiple performers using wireless IEM systems on the same stage. RF Venue CP Stage antennas are available individually or in bundle sets with RF Venue combiners. Using one RF Venue CP Stage antenna and one RF Venue COMBINE6 HDR, you can ''cover'' up to 6 in-ear monitoring systems! Of course, this number can be increased by using multiple combiners.
For use with wireless microphones, two CP Stage antennas are recommended to enable diversity of reception and RF Venue distribution, such as DISTRO5 HDR (example in the following picture).
