We present to you a new generation of professional active RCF subwoofers, meet the RCF SUB 9000 series! The new generation of subwoofers is a member of the RCF touring segment and has been developed for demanding touring and festival conditions, rental companies and demanding fixed installations.  RCF has integrated numerous years of expertise in the creation of transducers and amplifiers into this series, alongside with innovative technologies for configuration and system management. The series combines the latest RCF innovations to provide even more powerful low frequency reproduction, greater efficiency and simpler management, both for the subwoofers themselves and for the complete sound system.

RCF SUB 9000 Series

The new RCF SUB 9000 series of active subwoofers consists of three models, the SUB 9029-AS, SUB 9019-AS and SUB 9016-AS. All models use specially developed RCF Precision Transducers, and the heart of each model is a highly efficient Class-D amplifier with a power of up to 8000 W! With advanced DSP processing, the series provides extremely precise and controlled bass even at very intense high sound pressure levels. The maximum SPL reaches up to 142 dB, while the frequency response is from 25 – 200 Hz, depending on the model.  The models cover the various needs of professional users, from mobile PA  systems to complex concert production.

All subwoofers of the new series use new, more technologically advanced methods of installation or configuration. They all support RDNet network management and there is also RDTap, the RCF contactless communication technology that enables quick reading and preparation of the configuration in the smartphone application. By simply touching the phone to the marked place on the back panel of the sub, the entire configuration (presets, equalization, delay, cardioid settings) is transferred. This significantly speeds up system preparation, which is especially important for touring and rental applications.

One of the main advantages of the new series is the ACE (Advanced Crossover Engine) technology that brings automatically optimized matching of subwoofers with compatible RCF speakers. Factory-set presets and crossovers automatically adjust time alignment and phase over a wider frequency range than classic crossovers. This is exactly what allows the entire system to work as a single acoustic unit without time-consuming manual adjustments. With Bass Motion Control and RDShape, you have all the necessary tools for simpler and faster system configuration.

Three durable models for professional applications

The physical design follows the same philosophy. The housings are made of plywood coated with a durable polyurea coating, the connection panel is protected by a magnetic cover resistant to rain and dust, and the robust powerCON TRUE1 TOP connectors guarantee reliable power supply in all weather conditions.

Ergonomic handles with rubber grips, the possibility of stacking, M20 mounts for supports on the top and on the side, and connections for detachable transport carts, facilitate the daily work of teams in the field, while the modular suspension kit allows for safe flying and cardioid configurations.

RCF SUB 9016-AS

The smallest member of the RCF SUB 9000 series is the RCF SUB 9016-AS which comes with a single 16" neodymium woofer with a 4" voice coil driven by a 4000 W Class-D amplifier. It achieves 137 dB of maximum sound pressure level with a frequency range of 30 to 200 Hz.

With a weight of only 50 kg and the most compact dimensions in the entire series, it is an ideal choice for mobile systems, theaters, installations, rental companies, or small and medium-sized applications where ease of transport is just as important as sound quality. Combined with four RCF HDL 26-A modules and three units in a cardioid configuration, this compact model brings superb bass to the entire system.

RCF SUB 9019-AS

The RCF SUB 9019-AS uses the new neo 19" High-Excursion Precision Transducer with a long-throw diaphragm and also has a 4000 W amplifier. A maximum SPL of 138 dB and a reproduction of the lowest frequencies of 30 Hz make it an excellent choice for medium and large PA systems. Thanks to the combination of high performance, moderate weight and advanced DSP, it represents the ideal balance between mobility and power.

RCF SUB 9029-AS

The largest and most powerful member of the series is the RCF SUB 9029-AS, which consists of two 19" woofers and an impressive 8000 W amplifier. The maximum SPL reaches 142 dB, while the frequency response reaches 25 Hz, enabling the reproduction of extremely deep and precise bass at large concerts, festivals and demanding touring productions.

The optimized housing allows for easy stacking and transport, while the professional suspension system supports configurations for large line array systems.
