DPA 4097 CORE+ Micro Shotgun Microphone

The most famous DPA ''plant mic'' is now even better with the use of CORE+ technology. The DPA 4097 CORE+ is an IP58 supercardioid micro shotgun microphone that features a highly directional polar pattern, high sensitivity (16 mV/Pa with a flat frequency response of ±3 dB measured at 1 kHz) and very low self-noise.

Enhanced with CORE+ technology, it can now handle even higher maximum SPL levels (total harmonic distortion (THD) is less than one percent at 134 dB SPL peak) while delivering undistorted, natural sound. This sound transmission is standard even when users are speaking loudly or shouting in very confined environments (such as recording in a car).
Along with a more modern design and windshield foam finish, other features have been also improved. There is new more stable shock mount, cable noise isolation, and an upgraded gooseneck that now comes with a MicroLock connector as standard. The microphone's small size makes it an ideal choice for professional broadcasting applications.
