Clients: Maritime Heritage Interpretation Center DUBoak

Project date: July, 2021

Project type: Pro Audio, Video,

The DUBoak Maritime Heritage Interpretation Center was created as a community response to the new circumstances that befell it in this globalization grind. In order for the tangible and intangible heritage to be truly saved, the instruments offered by the modern era are needed, and one of the best examples is the interpretation center of maritime heritage. Conceived as a place where local residents will remember the stories and experiences of their ancestors, but also as a place where interested visitors can hear these same stories and get to know the region in which they are staying.

Project description

For the purposes of presentations and the display of an animated film about ladva, we installed a video wall of 3 x 2 AllSee TL55H7 displays, on which the video is displayed via an Aten VP1920 presentation video switcher. For connecting additional computers, an Aten VE819 was delivered. The sound reproduction is done through the RCF DMA82 amplifier, through the RCF M1001 sound boxes. Audix R62 system – wireless microphone base and bodypack – with DPA head microphone 4188-DC-F-F00-M was also supplied for the presentations. At the entrance, you are greeted by a stylized mystical ‘’drmun’’ from Dubašlja, who tells the story of an oak tree by using one-handed antivirus headphones, hologram pyramids and Sony FW-55BZ40H display on which you can see the video in two language versions using the analog interface, while the sounds of nature can be heard via the RCF BS 5EN hanging sound box. The story of shipbuilding is presented via a Sony FW-55BZ40H with video/audio player, a one-handed anti-virus headset with the ability to select the language using the analog interface. The interactive part of the interpretation center consists of a model corner where, among other things, you can play the game of connecting various ships on 3 touch screens or jump to the middle of the 19th century and travel from Malinska to Venice using virtual glasses.
