The “Drago Britvić” cultural center is located in Pitomača and carries out organizational work on the protection and preservation of cultural affairs and assets in the territory of the municipality. The goals of the establishment are unifying and coordinating the work of all institutions, cultural destinations and events in the area of the municipality of Pitomača. Theatrical and musical performances, cultural manifestations, various workshops in the field of culture and art, exhibitions, lectures and promotions are organized in cultural centar. In order to improve the experience of its users, the Center started a project to equip and upgrade its multifunctional hall. In the desire to display its contents in the best possible way, the implementation of equipment was necessary and, to our great satisfaction, we were included in the project when equipping the Center’s hall.
As part of finishing the equipment of the multifunctional hall of the “Drago Britvić” Culture Center in Pitomača, a cinema system was delivered. Central part of system is a Christie CP2309-RGB laser projector with 9000 lumens, DLP display technology and 2K resolution (2048×1080 px). The system includes a media server with a capacity of 8 TB in a RAID5 configuration. The special feature of this projector is the RGB laser as a light source, which enables realistic color reproduction on the screen (>95% of the actual image), according to the REC.2020 standard and has a significantly higher contrast, which overall creates a unique experience of watching movies during the projection. Along with the additional equipment, we also delivered a stand for the projector on wheels with safety feet for support, that have possibility of height adjustment, and also represents a 19″ stand for accommodating additional equipment. On client’s request we provided 7.4 x 4 m canvas supplied with side tensioners in a final silver coating to enable future integration of the 3D system in the hall. The existing audio system used for concerts and various events was upgraded with a Dolby 7.1 cinema processor, LW MUK4100 amplifiers and LW 7511 V2 surround sound boxes and LW 8003-BI sound box for the center channel. Xilica Solaro processor is installed for the option of selecting concert or cinema mode.
